Othman Omar Elsherif, the Sudanese minister of trade and commerce, organized a ceremony for honoring more than 60 Petromin distributors for achieving their targets in 2014.

The celebration witnessed the presence of a large number of officials from Sudan’s ministries of economy and industry. Screened on the occasion was a video on Petromin’s development over the years.

Adelellah Baqabas, PR and advertising manager at Petromin, welcomed the gathering on behalf of Samir bin Maatouk, CEO of the company, in which he expressed his thanks to the distributors and explained the 26-year history of petromin in Sudan, and outlined the company’s future plans, like developing express service centers around the country.

Omran Mofti, the company’s vice president for sales and marketing, called for a better distribution of the company’s products in Sudan, which mainly uses land transport.

After a cultural program and the honoring of Petromin distributors, Ali Alnoor, Petromin’s regional manager for Sudan, presented a show about the company’s development in the past 30 months.
