Raytheon’s interactive math and science exhibit, co-hosted by the Jeddah Science Center and Tatweer Educational Services, opens to the public at Fakieh Planetarium on Thursday.

A large turnout of VIPs and students attended the formal opening of MathAlive!, the interactive math and science exhibit, held at the venue on Tuesday.

The traveling exhibition opens to the public on Thursday as part of a three-month Jeddah summer stopover in partnership with Fakieh Leisure and Entertainment Group (Tarfeeh Fakieh), the Jeddah Science Center, Tatweer Educational Services, and Raytheon Company, which created the exhibit.

MathAlive!’s return to the Kingdom, following its debut in 2014, also comes as Raytheon commemorates its 50th anniversary in Saudi Arabia.

Other special guests included General Zaid bin Abdulaziz Al-Shagroud, commander of the Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces in Jeddah, and Abdullah Al-Thagafy, GM of education department in Jeddah, as well as representatives of Tatweer Education Holding Company.

Event speakers were Tarfeeh Fakieh’s executive director and William M. Blake, VP, RSADF programs, Raytheon Integrated Defense in the Kingdom.

The exhibit will run at the Fakieh Planetarium for the summer season until the end of August.
