JUBAIL: The Royal Commission for Jubail (RCJ) has allocated 69,821 sqm of land for industrial, service and logistical projects at a total cost exceeding SR625 million.

Abdulaziz Attragi, the RCJ general manager of strategic planning, signed the related deals in Jubail Industrial City on Tuesday.

As per the agreements, Abdullah Ahmad Al-Dossary Holding Co. will establish and operate an industrial machine maintenance facility, Saudi K-KEM Engineering Service Company will produce pipes and provide maintenance service, and Asia Steel Factory Co. Ltd. will setup a factory for pipe coating.

The other project include a factory for manufacturing thermal insulation panels and Flynn boxes of polystyrene by Gulf Excellent Group for Contracting & Trading (GCE Group), a project by Kanoo Terminal Services Ltd. for transferring, storing, testing and cleaning of the containers, and another by Basem International Shipping and Logistics Co. Ltd. for transferring, storing and cleaning of ISO tanks.

Almajdouie Group for Petro-chemical Products will have a plant for transferring, heat controlled storage and packaging, while another project is related to transferring and storing containers and other materials.
