The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain presents a “haven of hospitality and personalized service” for guests for the duration of the holy month of Ramadan.

It invites visitors to dine with family and friends at two venues created specifically for the occasion - The Glow Ramadan Lounge and Al Khayma Ramadan tent. Guests have a wide selection of traditional Bahraini cuisine.

The Glow Ramadan Lounge by Jaguar Land Rover has a 13 meter high, dome-shaped pavilion. The venue boasts a large dining area with oversized seats welcoming up to 200 loungers from sunset to sunrise. This oasis has been created solely for Ramadan.

Yet, the focal point of The Glow is an avant-garde car display rotating on a daily basis and showcasing the world’s most leading edge engines.

The epicurean odyssey is exhilarated by the 40 sqm foodie-verse where seasonal-inspired favorites of kushari (combination of vegetables), ouzi, shawarma, lekemet (dough balls fried and dipped in date syrup and powder sugar) and kham (soft dough balls flavored with honey), blend in with the culinary most exuberant creations such as the Arabic sushi line, and the halwa or dried fruits flavored macaroon collection.

Al Khayma Ramadan tent has decors inspired by the oriental souk of Fez. An alley of hanging lanterns guides guests into its interiors.

Inside, long turquoise and gold drapes, crystal chandeliers and hanging light spheres, an imaginative fanoosh wooden cage, and a tree of lights adorn the tent and set the stage onto a culinary lineup.

Fusing traditions with grandeur, both venues serve some of the most appreciated Ramadan beverages, including karkadeh, vimto, laban, apricot or tamarind drink, and jellab. The Glow offers a selection of traditional and special flavors of shisha, while Al Khayma provides a parted area for families and non-smokers.
