The Ritz-Carlton has prepared a full schedule of exciting holiday packages for Saudi families this month, with plenty of fun for kids and adults of all ages, says the newly-appointed General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain Hotel & Spa, Christian Zandonella.

“We have experience in providing exclusive atmosphere to our Saudi family guests with due regard for their very concerns and needs,” Zandonella told Arab News, adding “they are very important guests whose requirements matter to us a great deal.”

Zandonella was in the capital recently with other heads of the US-based hospitality firm’s road show campaign launch as the holiday festivities continue in January.

Established 20 years ago, their hotel has separate villas and resorts with greenery and landscaping designed for guests looking for fresh environment and relaxation. They will also rediscover the magic of family holidays that make one’s stay a pleasant and unforgettable experience.

The holiday events kicked off on Jan. 16 at the Ritz Kids Camp and will continue from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day until Feb. 14. They provide an 'ideal occasion' for the young travelers. They also let parents enjoy a well deserved break while witnessing their children acquiring new skills and interests.

Outlining this year’s program, he said the adventure begins at check-in, when the kids receive a scavenger hunt map of the hotel premises that will help them explore and learn about its storied history.

Young guests will then take part in a variety of games conducted by the hotel’s Royal Sporting Club. Each day offers a set of activities focusing on one of the four pillars of Ritz Kids — water, land, environmental responsibility and culture. The Ritz Kids program offered children travel experiences, such as camel back rides on Jan. 16 will also be available on Feb. 13, or a sand castle competition on Jan. 30.

He added: “To reminisce on their adventures of the week, kids and adults can congregate at the Overlook Cafe on Jan. 23, 24 and Feb. 20, 21 for the Under the Stars movie nights. Guests can leave their woes behind and enjoy viewing blockbusters on giant screens set up against the dramatic backdrop of the Gulf Sea and the Manama city skyline.

Crowning the lineup of activities are the Layali Wanasah nights by Ritz-Carlton on Jan. 20, 21 and 22 at Al Khayma. Families and friends have been invited to revel in the specially decorated tent, and savor the best holiday memories and the most lavish buffet spreads.
