Samsung Electronics, a global leader in digital media and digital convergence technologies, participated in FIKR 13 Conference organized by Arab Thought Foundation in Morocco recently.

The conference, themed "The Arab integration: The dream of unity and the reality of division" had the support of King of Morocco Mohammed VI. Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, minister of education and chairman of the Arab Thought Foundation was present at the event, which had the participation of presidents, ministers, decision-makers, and Arab and international dignitaries, in addition to an elite group of Arab and foreign scholars, academics, and intellectuals.

Prince Khaled visited Samsung’s booth, where he was briefed on the latest Galaxy Note devices that supports the revival of the Arabic language and calligraphy.

Samsung claims the Galaxy Note has succeeded in creating a featured Arabic handwriting through the use of S Pen that helps in taking notes, searching an address, sending an e-mail and, most important, writing Arabic text that is recognized by the device and converted into digital text, which enhances the presence and use of Arabic language in technical usage.
