Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management, is showcasing latest Smart Grid solutions at the Saudi Arabia Smart Grid Conference and Exhibition (SASG 2014) that opened on Sunday in Jeddah and is scheduled to run until Dec. 17 at the Hilton Hotel.

From stand No. 126 B spanning 49 square meters, Schneider Electric is also spotlighting the benefits of cyber security, as well as its new remote terminal unit "‘Easergy T300".

Schneider Electric’s Smart Grid solutions address the growing need for an uninterrupted power supply, and encourage the need for distribution automation to be incorporated into future grid design. These solutions provide intelligent connectivity for secure and stable network operation across diverse infrastructures. They can also absorb peak loads, enabling users to decrease their energy consumption by 30 percent. The innovations allow greater visibility and enable decision-making tools at enterprise level to improve capital as well as operational expenditures (CAPEX and OPEX).

On day-two (15 December), Didier Giarratano, Director of Cyber Security Platforms at Schneider Electric, will discuss cyber security management in his keynote speech at the conference that is collocated with the exhibition.
