Sipchem utilized the Plast 2015, considered to be one of the world’s three major plastics trade fairs, to introduce its polymer products to potential customers in Europe, which the city of Milan hosted from May 5-9.

Sipchem’s exhibition stand was visited by hundreds of industry professionals seeking information on its latest products, including low-density polyethylene (LDPE), ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), and polybutylene terephthalate (PBT).

In its 15-year history, the Plast international trade fair has become a prominent meeting place for the plastics and rubber processing industry. More than 1,500 exhibitors from 57 countries cover the entire plastic component production chain.

The Plast also provides a valuable opportunity to introduce new products and production techniques to the industry — often for the first time.

In the past three years, this is the fifth time that Sipchem is participating as an exhibitor at an international trade fair in Europe. Over these five years, Sipchem’s product offering has grown considerably.

Exhibitions like this provide critical platforms for Sipchem to update the market on its continually expanding product offering and growing global reach. This year, more than 50,000 plastics, industrial, technical and marketing specialists visited the exhibition.

The Sipchem team attending the Plast 2015 was largely made up of corporate communications and marketing personnel suited to showcase Sipchem’s business and products to this critical audience.

The team included representatives from Sipchem’s marketing wing in Europe, Aectra, for whom the trade fair provided an excellent opportunity to access Europe’s key polymer buying decision-makers.
