Canadian cafe and bake shop, Tim Hortons, announced that it has initiated a wave of store openings across Saudi Arabia this year, with the opening of its new store at Hayat Mall Riyadh, on May 27. The store was launched by Tom MacDonald, Canadian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Bahrain and Oman.

The new Tim Hortons’ store, which is 192 sqm in area, is located on the first floor at gate number one of Hayat Mall that houses over 400 retail brands.

Tim Hortons offers a broad range of options in its menu that includes premium coffee, hot and cold specialty drinks, fresh baked goods, sandwiches, wraps and soups. It also retails Tim Hortons packaged coffee and merchandise.

“Tim Hortons has received an overwhelming response in the Kingdom since the launch of its first store in Madinah in March last year. We currently operate six stores across the cities of Madinah, Riyadh and Jeddah, and are looking at significantly increasing our footprint in the Kingdom to meet the rising demand for our offering,” commented Nilesh Ved, chairman and founder of the Apparel Group.
