Sara Al-Abdul Razaq, Rasha Al-Aseeri and Nouf Al-Shammas are Kuwaiti/Saudi designers who are brains behind the Rashno boutique.

At the beginning, they wanted to design Ramadan clothes for themselves.

Each one of them has a passion for fashion designing. Their designs received applause and encouragement from family and friends around them.

Being relatives in the first place brought them together. Also, the fact that their taste in clothes and accessories is quite similar helped in launching their own line.

Their first collection, Ramadan 2012, saw the light in a well-known bazaar, where people flattered their designs and encouraged their talents.

In Ramadan 2013, the collection was better and bigger.

They participated in Qatar and Riyadh and everyone complimented the latest collection. “We were thrilled with all that positive feedback from people who attended the bazaar,” said Rasha.

At the beginning, the obstacles were small, and the three of them worked side-by-side to overcome them.

She added, “We do follow fashion trends, but we like to add our own touch, which is elegance and simplicity at the same time.”

Bright summer colors and cool colors, like white, beige and light blue are the dominant colors on their designs.

About the process of designing a piece, Rasha explained, “When we start designing a piece, we tend to ponder on it several times until we get what we want. We make sure that the piece is flawless and suits all sizes.”

The costumers’ satisfaction is what they seek, and their collection suits all ages, young girls and ladies.

For Ramadan 2014 collection, they used colors with cotton to produce distinctive and convenient pieces for this summer.

Rashno boutique is located only in Jeddah and Kuwait so far, but they are hoping to reach markets all over the Gulf countries in the coming five years.

“I was influenced by every woman with a beautiful taste, and every outstanding, creative fashion designer. At the end, the eye loves to see beauty in everything,” said Rasha.

She is more into feminine, simple and classic designs at the same time.

She loves elegant designs, which whenever she wears, it looks like it is this year’s trend.

Rasha’s advice for the aspiring designers is not to exhaust themselves by following fashion trends, but believing that the beauty comes from the inside.

“Choose what makes you comfortable, increases your confidence and gives you a sense of satisfaction, because it will be reflected on you from the outside,” added Rasha.
