The post-Haj Bonyan 5 (the Haj Operation Partnership Management Exhibition) will be open for the Haj pilgrims visiting the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah from today.

The Bonyan 5 aims to provide pilgrims with necessary information about the Kingdom’s commitment to improving facilities for pilgrims.

The expo is organized by the Madinah Haj Committee.

The expo was inaugurated by Madinah Gov. Prince Abdul Aziz bin Majed earlier in the month.

Thirty-Six agencies including government departments, private agencies, voluntary organizations and charity establishments are participating in the expo. The name Bonyan, which is adopted from a saying of the Prophet (peace be upon him), that the Muslim society is like a building for which each brick is vital, stresses the importance of cooperation of different sectors to offer the best services to pilgrims.

Prince Abdul Aziz is keen on the continuation of the exhibition so that pilgrims get an insight in to the efforts of the Kingdom including the private agencies to make the pilgrimage safe and comfortable for all pilgrims, the Saudi Press Agency reported. The Bonyan 5 aims to stress the success of cooperation and partnership between all the agencies active in the service of Haj pilgrims.


One of the attractions of the expo is a screen five meters in breadth and 2.5 meters in height enabling15 people to interact at the same time. The interactive screen showcased by the Taiba University enables visitors to gather information in Arabic and English about the origin, vision and mission of the university apart from the various colleges and deanships working under the university. It also provides a map of the university campus, its ongoing projects and the medical city.
