SR 7 billion tourist projects planned for 2013

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is implementing this year a number of tourism and heritage projects amounting to more than SR 7 billion in various regions of the Kingdom.
In its report today, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said that the projects of the government sector in support of the development of tourism and architectural heritage in the Kingdom for the current year 1434AH amounting to SR 3.5 billion, noting that the projects include rehabilitation of tourist and heritage sites, roads, tourist cities, parks, gardens, museums, airport expansion and others.
The value of private sector projects for the development of tourism in the Kingdom for the current year 1434AH amounting to SR 3.5 billion. The projects include commercial and recreational complexes, resorts, hotels, exhibitions, festivals and private museums.
