NasJet, the largest private aviation operator in the Middle East, has announced the appointment of Saad Alazwari as its new CEO.
Alazwari brings a determined drive for innovation, growth and efficiency in an expanding Middle East market.
Many operators, he says, “aspire to deliver discerning clients superior services, but very few have all the elements required: talent, assets and most importantly heritage; NasJet has proven that it has all three in abundance.”
He commented: “I am greatly honored to join a dedicated team focused on delivering outstanding value to our stakeholders.”
Previously, Alazwari held a number of senior positions including CEO of a Saudi listed company. He said: “I join at an exciting time in the company’s history, since we are celebrating 15-years of operational excellence and at the same time I am also proud to announce the delivery of a brand new BBJ3 under management, which is the seventh BBJ handled by NasJet.”
Welcoming Alazwari to NasJet, NAS Holding Group CEO Sulaiman Al-Hamdan said: “NasJet has become the largest and fastest growing business aviation company in the Middle East and we are extremely pleased to have a seasoned business expert lead the company forward into a new era of expansion and implement our future plans to exceed client expectations in order to consolidate NasJet’s position as the premier private business jet service of choice.”
NasJet is a part of the National Air Services Group (NAS Holding) a Saudi Arabia based private company.
The company manages and supports 66 fixed-wing aircraft with a fleet value in access of $2 billion.
The NasJet core fleet is comprised of Airbus, BBJ, Gulfstream and Hawker aircraft.
NasJets current expansion strategy is to specifically-promote the safest, highest quality of service and support the region’s most successful private and institutional clients, who require the benefits of being able to control and customize the way they travel.
The company is currently the only private jet operator in the region able to provide a complete range of corporate aviation services and is the first private company in Saudi Arabia to be awarded an Aircraft Operating Certificate (AOC) by The General Authority for Civil Aviation (GACA).
