May 23: The Sydney Morning Herald report by Hannah Barry states that a senior figure in WA's live export industry has avoided jail after he falsified documents to push through a shipment of sick sheep to Pakistan during a disastrous live export operation over six years ago. Garry Shawcross Robinson appeared in the WA District Court on Tuesday morning charged with two counts of dishonestly influencing a Commonwealth public official and one count of using a false Commonwealth document to obtain gain.
