Dawn: Power consumers to pay Rs1.60 per unit more

October 25 – Dawn report by Khaleeq Kiani states that consumers of ex-Wapda distribution companies (Discos) faced a cumulative increase of about Rs1.60 per unit (14 per cent) in their electricity tariff owing to two separate but simultaneous decisions by the government and the power regulator on Wednesday.
