Panda Retail Company recently organized its annual employee iftar gatherings in Dubai and Cairo in line with its efforts to promote the values and spirit of the "one family" concept within the group.
The gatherings were held in the presence of Panda Retail Company CEO Muwaffaq Mansour Jamal, who traveled specifically to the iftar locations to spend time with the employees and thank them personally for their contributions to the company.
Jamal commended the team members in Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the UAE for applying high standards in customer service. He added that Panda gives high priority to customer experience and plays a pivotal role in its growth and expansion.
“I celebrated the same event few days ago with our colleagues in the Kingdom. I am just as glad today to be here with our family members in the UAE and Egypt. It is important to create a positive work environment and organize social events for staff to strengthen and promote the values and principles of one team. This will definitely reflect positively on our overall performance and customer service,” Jamal stressed.
Various entertainment activities were held during the event to reinforce the communication and interaction among all employees regardless of their positions.
Gifts were handed out to employees enhancing the positive atmosphere.
Panda forms the retail division of the Savola group of companies. It is one of the largest retailers in the Middle East, catering to more than 400 million visitors every year across its different outlets — Panda, HyperPanda and Pandati — which offer a diverse range of “high quality products that meet all the needs of the family at competitive prices.”
