The tragic incident that took place in Al-Ahsa (Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia) was subject to numerous interpretations in the media and on social channels. The funeral of the victims, alone, proved how united this society is. We have seen Shia and Sunni Saudis hand in hand, sharing sadness of loss and praying in one cemetery!
What terrorists never keep in mind is that we have lived through hunger and roughness for hundreds of years! We are the Arabian Peninsula and there is no other part in the Middle East that has suffered the life we had before 1932. It’s only us who dare!
We know what it is like to live without rain, rivers, farms and safety. We knew, ever since, how to value the simplest blessing and we made it through, to stand on our own. Saudis are never an easy hunt, as long as we realize who we were, what we are and where we all are heading as one!
