Most of the time we mention the rude behaviors of a handful of Saudis toward the expatriates. Wouldn’t it be appropriate to highlight something positive as well?

Last week, I happened to visit some private banks and offices of telecom operators. I was surprised and very pleased to encounter young Saudis dealing with all their clients or customers with the utmost civility.

It was heartening to note that they were greeting everyone with a smile on their faces and trying their level best to resolve whatever issues their clients were complaining about.

And I noticed this change at a number of places. This is such a nice change. I feel the younger generation of Saudis is realizing the importance of courteous behavior and the true meanings of service. I saw them talking to people so politely without any discrimination that filled my heart with respect and praise for those youngsters. — Shahbaz Ahmed, Jeddah
