RIYADH: Shaheen Strikers got the better of Detecon Rising Stars by 4 wickets during the third week of Power Zone Twenty20 cricket tournament, organized by Riyadh Cricket League, at the RCL Complex, here.

Other highlights of the day was a century by Naveed of Pakhtoon Khawah and good batting performances by Khawar, Shahid, Ezaz, Mudassir, Haider, Tahir Khan, Minaj and Shahzad.

Detecon Rising Stars batted first and put on board 175 runs. Tahir Khan was in good nick and made 83 runs. Umar scored 23. Amir bowled well and claimed 3 wickets. Shahzad, Kashif and Imran Arif took 2 each. In reply Shaheen Strikers achieved the total off 17.1 overs. Shahzad top-scored with 51 runs. He was supported by Noshad (22), Hamza (40) and Aftab (26). Tahir Khan and Ahmad took 2 wickets each.

Man-of-the-Match: Shahzad.

In another match Super Cricket Club got the better of Mehran by 6 wickets.

Mehran set a target of 154 runs. Super achieved the total off 16 overs. Shahid (58) and Khawar (78 not out) were the architects of their win.
