EU to launch mission supporting Lebanon’s Internal Security Forces
- The European Union (EU) is preparing a mission to advise and train Lebanon’s Internal Security Forces (ISF), with more than 10 member states expressing readiness to provide resources and personnel, according to Kaja Kallas, the EU’s foreign policy chief.
- EU officials said the initiative was intended to enhance the capacity of Lebanon’s ISF.
