Al-Oula, a non-profit organization, will host the “Basmat Khair” charity exhibition on Friday and Saturday at the Jeddah Hilton.
The event will be held under the patronage of Princess Al-Anood bint Abdullah, wife of Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Makkah governor and adviser to King Salman.
Al-Oula aims to raise funds through the event’s sponsorship, entry tickets, space rentals and raffle tickets. The funds will support the children of South Jeddah through various programs that aim at developing skills, sports and other activities.
To achieve this goal, Al-Oula has invited several entities to sponsor the event and contribute to the development of the children of South Jeddah.
“Basmat Khair” provides an opportunity to shop and have a good time. It includes many corners, such as a women’s corner, a children’s corner, a food corner, and a corner for productive families.
A car sponsored by Lifan Motors is the grand prize in the raffle draw.
The event has received support from many businesses who believe in the importance of social responsibility, such as Zahid Group and SABIC. Many social media influencers in Jeddah have also offered their support.
Al-Oula is the first non-profit organization in Saudi Arabia that has been working for 55 years to break the cycle of poverty through early intervention and the empowerment of lower income families in South Jeddah.
