Known for its unparalleled service, Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort goes green and now offers a complimentary new amenity for guests who own electric cars.

New electric charging stations have been installed at the resort, easily accessible and safe in the protected entryway, so guests won’t fear leaving their expensive charging equipment behind.

The chargers are able to simultaneously charge two cars, with a full battery requiring four to six hours to charge. Once charged, vehicles can travel anywhere between 120 to 400 kilometers before needing to be recharged.

“Electric vehicles are becoming increasingly popular among our environmentally conscious guests,” says General Manager Jean-Francois Laurent.

“The convenience and accessibility of our new electric vehicle charging stations is simply an extension of our service culture and is part of the government’s smart, clean city drive initiative launched by Dubai Municipality,” he adds.

Catering to guests who own electric cars is the latest in a string of green initiatives for the hotel and its sustainability policy, including water and energy conversion, waste management and quality assurance.
