Binzagr Foods (BZF), a division of Binzagr company and one of the suppliers of major cooking oil brands across the Kingdom, and Oman-based AREEJ Vegetable oil company have decided to strengthen their relationship and work toward increasing their Saudi market share.

BZF, which sources its cooking oil supplies from major brands in the region, has been associated with AREEJ for a long time.

A reception was hosted by the BZF for the AREEJ management team represented by Salem Nasser Al-Bortmany, director of sales and marketing.

Al-Bortmany is also a board member of AREEJ and other companies. He is an executive member of the OPEX (Omani products exhibition) management committee and has played an active role in developing Omani-Saudi business partnerships.

The meeting was held on the sidelines the OPEX that was held in Jeddah recently.

The meeting reviewed their association that was built on solid foundations. The two sides also agreed on key initiatives to strengthen their association and take it to a far greater level.

Ahmed Binzagr, COO, Binzagr Foods, commented that the Saudi market had tremendous potential and the consumer here was seeking value, thus Binzagr Foods would strive to offer products that meet consumer expectations.

Al-Bortmany said he and his organization would work closely with Binzagr Foods to develop products of value and achieve growth in the huge Saudi cooking oil market.

Hajjaj Moslih, VP, BZF, remarked that managing the procurement and supply chain efficiently was important in driving value and speed in the market and that was one of the focus areas that Binzagr Foods would leverage with AREEJ.
