Bab Rizq Jameel (BRJ), the job creation initiative of Abdul Latif Jameel Community Initiatives (ALJCI), has been announced as the winner of the Mohammed bin Rashid Award for Young Business Leaders for the Best Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Initiative for 2013 in the Arab world. The award was recognized by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders (Dubai SME) in appreciation of BRJ’s achievements in creating job opportunities for young people through its various branches in the Middle East.

The award ceremony took place under the sponsorship of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE vice president, prime minister and ruler of Dubai and in the presence of Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, crown prince of Dubai and chairman of Dubai Executive Council. The ceremony was held at the Dubai World Trade Centre as part of the World Entrepreneurship Forum.

The award was handed over by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to Abdul Rahman Al-Fehaid, executive director of BRJ Saudi Arabia.

Al-Fehaid added: "This recognition increases BRJ’s responsibility to spend more efforts and dedication to create further job opportunities in the Arab countries, and to contribute in alleviating unemployment."
