Power management company Eaton has announced the appointment of Frank Ackland as its Middle East GM with responsibility for the company’s operational and commercial business across the region.

Ackland will report directly to Frank Campbell, president of Eaton’s electrical sector in EMEA. Ackland will be based at Eaton’s recently opened Middle East headquarters and manufacturing hub located in the UAE’s Jebel Ali Free Zone. Ackland was previously regional executive and GM for GE Digital Energy in the MEA.

Eaton has operated in the Middle East for more than four decades, contributing to the development of the region’s infrastructure with power management solutions that include legacy brands Westinghouse, Crouse-Hinds, CEAG, BILL, MEM, Cutler-Hammer, Powerware and Moeller.
