EMC has announced the appointment of Kamal Othman as its GM for Saudi Arabia.

In the new role, Othman will be responsible for driving the organization’s agenda and innovation roadmap in a bid to further accelerate EMC’s significant growth across the Kingdom.

Based out of Riyadh and reporting into Mohamed Talaat, Othman for Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Libya and Turkey, Othman will continue to lay emphasis on establishing and strengthening key customer and channel collaborations to enable successful IT and business transformation across Saudi Arabia.

Prior to the announcement, Othman was responsible for leading one of EMC’s most strategic market operations as regional director, public sector for Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Libya and Turkey.

Othman has been instrumental in building and firmly establishing the company’s leadership delivering purpose built solutions and expertise to leading entities across his region and especially in the Kingdom.

An ICT veteran with over 20 years of diverse work experience in senior management and leadership roles for organizations such as Autodesk, Microsoft and Oracle, Kamal continues to lead the successful expansion of key vendor and industry alliances across Saudi Arabia, in addition to establishing partnerships with leading educational institutions to revamp and refresh ICT education for the next generation of professionals.
