Eastern Province Gov. Prince Saud bin Naif honored Riyad Bank for sponsoring and participating in the Youth Exhibition and Forum, organized by The Eastern Province Chamber of Commerce on Nov. 30.

Mohammad Al-Rabeah, EVP of marketing and general director of community services programs at Riyad Bank, said the bank is pleased to contribute in overcoming the challenges that hinder the emerging enterprises and to expand their contribution to the national economy. This is in addition to offering all the necessary support and solutions especially designed to cater for this vital sector.

Riyad Bank has played a key role in the success of various financing programs for SMEs, including Kafalah. The guarantees issued by the bank exceeded SR1.55 billion. This was 24 percent of the total guarantees issued since the beginning of the program. The total financing of SMEs on the other hand exceeded SR4 billion. This is around 24.5 percent of the total financing offered since the start of the program.
