Eastern Province Gov. Prince Saud bin Naif honored Riyad Bank for its collaboration with Eta’am in sponsoring the organization’s activities and programs aiming to preserve food from wastage over the past three years.

The annual ceremony, with the support of the governor, was organized to celebrate the third anniversary of the organization and in recognition of the partners, founders and institutions that have been supporting Eta’am since it was founded.

The ceremony was held in Dammam on Sept. 6, where the governor honored Mohammad Al-Rabeah, EVP of marketing and general director of community services programs at Riyad Bank.

Al-Rabeah thanked the governor for honoring Riyad Bank and for his patronage of the ceremony, which reflects the significant role Eta’am plays within society. He also congratulated the organization for its three-year anniversary wishing them further success and continuity.

Al-Rabeah added that Riyad Bank is committed to social responsibility and is constantly working toward strengthening its social collaborations with charity organizations to present successful examples of effective social work.

Riyad Bank stated that it is proud of partnering with Eta’am and is eager to further develop this partnership and will continue to offer the required support to enrich such a pioneering experience.

Riyad Bank is considered one of the main strategic partners of the organization since its inception. It sponsored a wide range of initiatives that had a huge impact on the organization’s success in spreading the culture of food preservation.
