Prince Sultan bin Salman, president of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTNH), presented Fahd Al-Sayegh as the Best Hotel General Manager in Saudi Arabia for 2015, at the Tourism Excellence Awards program. The awards are sponsored by the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage.

Al-Sayegh said: It's an honor and privilege to win the award as the best hotel manager. I believe this achievement will inspire young Saudis to shine, achieve expertise and compete with international experts in the hospitality industry.”

Al-Sayegh, considered a pioneer in the hospitality industry, graduated from the US University of Denver in 1984 and worked with InterContinental hotels group for 15 years. He was appointed the GM of InterContinental Taif. He then joined the Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh.

Currently, Al-Sayegh serves as the GM of InterContinental Al-Jubail. During his career, he completed several hospitality-related courses in the United States, the UAE, Bahrain and Britain. He is a member of many hospitality associations.
