Oman Air, the national carrier of Oman, was nominated as an award-winner in the transportation category of the 2015 Good Design Awards, for its luxury Business Class seat BE Aerospace Serenity Suite designed by TEAGUE.

The Good Design Awards program was established in 1950, and is now organized annually by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design, whose stated mission is to educate the public about the value of good design and show how good design can positively impact the world’s quality of life.

One of the main criteria for selection is based on whether or not a product can enrich society and people’s lives through its design, and Oman Air’s Serenity Suite was awarded due to it combining innovation and luxury to offer its Business Class travelers an exceptionally comfortable flying experience.
