Gulf Air, Bahrain’s national carrier, recently conducted a seminar for front line and sales staff representing 30 travel agents in Thailand.
Held earlier this month, the one day seminar was termed a success, garnering positive feedback from all participants. The travel agents were familiarized by Gulf Air A/Country Manager and Airport Manager in Bangkok Khaled Abdulrahman and the airline’s dedicated sales team at Gulf Air about the airline’s latest developments, enhanced schedule and modified connections to various European destinations, the attractive promotional fares on offer and the airline’s future plans with regards to its fleet development over the coming years.
Yahya Ali Buali, Gulf Air senior manager sales, said: “We are committed to serving the Thai market, as we have done since our first entry in 1978, in a variety of ways. With strong bilateral ties, there is considerable mutual support between the two countries in developing and promoting tourism. We are committed to facilitating travel for Thai passengers across Gulf Air’s extensive network and partnering with travel agents to realize this.”
Gulf Air is a major international carrier serving 43 cities in 24 countries spanning three continents. The airline operates one of the largest networks in the Middle East, with double daily flights or more to 10 regional cities, in addition to select destinations in the Indian Subcontinent and Europe, from its hub at Bahrain International Airport.
The airline currently operates six weekly flights between Bangkok and Bahrain.
