Gulf Air, Bahrain’s national career, has announced frequency increases to and from various airports in anticipation of the upcoming peak summer travel period.
The increases are from and to Amman’s Queen Alia International Airport, Beirut’s Rafic Hariri International Airport, and Istanbul Ataturk Airport, with Gulf Air’s double-daily Amman service and daily Beirut service increasing to multiple daily with an increase of three weekly flights to each city. The airline’s five weekly Istanbul service will increase to daily — all from July until August end.
Gulf Air’s Acting Chief Commercial Officer Ahmed Janahi commented: “Boosting our network, Gulf Air’s planned frequency increases will provide greater choice of flights and enhanced connectivity for passengers travelling across the Gulf Air network. The summer period is typically associated with an increase in travel demand to some of our airline’s most popular destinations. Our additional frequencies to the Jordanian and Lebanese capital cities and Turkey’s most populous city, are all key to strengthening our existing business and tourism links. These additional flights allow greater connectivity and more seamless travel for passengers traveling across our extensive network via Bahrain International Airport while facilitating movement to and from Bahrain.”
Gulf Air boasts one of the largest Middle East networks with multiple daily flights to 10 regional cities, in addition to select destinations in the Indian Subcontinent and Europe, from its hub at Bahrain International Airport.
The national carrier is well-positioned to provide seamless connectivity and two-way movement across its network and through its efficient Bahrain hub.
