In line with its unwavering commitment to invest in national talents and unlock youth capabilities, Huawei sponsored the Career Day event held recently at the Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University (PNU) as part of the university’s annual activities for the current academic year 2016.

Recognizing the importance of supporting the education sector, contributing to the community development and preparing Saudi female graduates to enter the labor market, Huawei participated also in PNU Got Talent event as key sponsor.

Pablo Ning, VP of Huawei in Saudi Arabia, said: "We dedicate our efforts and endeavors to look for outstanding talented female graduates and encourage them to join our team. We are keen to collaborate our efforts with Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University in these events in order to provide the necessary support for young Saudi women, which comes in the framework of the company's commitment toward supporting creative talents, building the capabilities of young women, empowering women and promoting their active role in building and developing the society.”

Ning added: “Saudi Arabia and its universities and colleges have made great progress in the area of supporting young women, as they represent one of the key pillars of the development process. The efforts aimed to stimulate female students to do their best and unlock their creativity in their studies, which will be reflected positively on highlighting their talents and achieving outstanding results in the fields of research, knowledge, and innovation and building a strong knowledge based society."

During the Career Day, Huawei received the graduates’ resumes, in addition to reviewing the university outcomes and the graduates’ career interests, besides introducing those who are interested to the working environment and development programs at Huawei Saudi Arabia.

Ning pointed out that investing in human resources lies at the heart of the company's around 16-year presence in the Kingdom.
