South Indian film star Siddique opened the new showroom of the Sona Jewellers in Jubail in the midst of a large gathering of his fans and businessmen on Thursday.

Siddique acts in Malayalam movies and TV serials. He started his career doing comedy roles and transformed into a powerful character actor. He is also rated as a high quality performer in negative roles.

Some of Siddique's impressive performances come in films like Godfather, Harihar Nagar, Mimics Parade, Nandanam, Sathyameva Jayathe, Nariman, Uthaman and Tanthra.

“I am very happy to be in Saudi Arabia to open this prestigious showroom of Sona Jewellers,” the actor said, adding that he was also happy to meet his fans in the Kingdom.

Editor in Chief of Malayalam and Urdu News Tariq Mishkhas and Sona Jewellers’ MDs Shyam Mohan and Vivek Mohan were present.

Sona Jewellers was established in Saudi Arabia in 1984. At present the company has 100 percent foreign investment under the names of K.V. Mohan, Sona Mohan, Shyam Mohan and Vivek Mohan.

Its factory is located at Forzan Industrial Estate in Riyadh. At present company has 150 employees, with an annual turnover of SR260 million. The company has been a brand name for quality, confidence, service and guarantee of its products to the customers.

The company has a strong R&D wing that develops very latest designs of modern and traditional cohesive and comprehensive brand by taking feedback and viewpoints from its valued customers.

At present, Sona Jewellers has outlets in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Hofuf, and will be establishing four more branches throughout the Kingdom by December.
