Injaz Saudi Arabia will hold its annual event on entrepreneurship at the Jeddah Hilton Hotel on Wednesday, with the support of Education Minister Prince Faisal bin Abdullah, according to Nael Fayez, Injaz Saudi Arabia CEO.

“The annual event will include a roundtable called "Unlocking Arab youth entrepreneurship potential" focusing on outlining the challenges facing Arab youth and how the new generation of job seekers must also be job creators in order to sustain Arab economies capability,” Fayez said.

Through this annual event, Injaz Saudi Arabia highlights the achievements of the youth throughout its different programs. Aside from the roundtable discussion, the winning team of the company program will be announced.

The event will tackle various effective means of empowering the youth and unleashing their capacity for entrepreneurship.

“Empowering the Saudi youth with different skills outside the university and school curriculum, Injaz Saudi Arabia seeks to bridge the gap between the output of the education sector and the labor market needs,” Fayez said.

In doing so, he added, Injaz Saudi Arabia equips the Saudi youth with the necessary skills to prepare them for the labor market to help them find suitable job opportunities.

He added that Injaz Al-Arab, of which Injaz Saudi Arabia is an affiliate, conducted recently a study on the development and new requirements of the labor market in the Arab world.

“According to this study, the growth rate of the labor forces increases annually by 3.3 percent, in addition to 3 million new employees entering the labor market. By 2020, decision-makers and the private sector will have to provide about 80 to 100 million new job opportunities in the MENA region,” he added.
