Swiss luxury watch manufacturer JEANRICHARD supported the 7th edition of the Steve Nash Foundation Showdown New York that took place on June 25 at Sara D. Roosevelt Field on the Lower East Side.

This sponsorship highlighted JEANRICHARD’s continued commitment to the world of sports and tie in to its philosophy of life and giving back to the community, the manufacturer stated.

The 7-a-side soccer match was competitive and featured NBA and professional soccer players who joined forces to support the Steve Nash Foundation’s work to benefit underserved children.

In addition to LA Laker, Steve Nash, the match included professional soccer and NBA players such as Dirk Nowitzki (Dallas Mavericks), Giuseppe Rossi (A.C. Fiorentina), Kyrie Irving (Cleveland Cavaliers), Richie Williams (MLS), Tomas Pina Isla (Villarreal CF), Jean Paul Pineda (Rangers Chilean Premier League), Alessandro Noselli (NY Cosmos), Kyle Martino (Columbus Crew & L.A. Galaxy), Mason Plumlee (Brooklyn Nets), and Jonathan Spector (Birmingham City).

The soccer match was played at Sara D. Roosevelt Park on the Lower East Side of Manhattan with fans lining the field, bleachers and fences of the park.

JEANRICHARD awarded Giuseppe Rossi the Spirit of Showdown Award. In addition, Dirk Nowitzki was awarded the game’s Most Valuable Player Award.

Both players received a unique Aluminum Terrascope timepiece from JEANRICHARD’s extended collection with an ode to color, happiness and light, the aluminum watch boosts a daring red middle case, blue shafts, green bezel and raised white dial with blue hour-markers and a luminescent orange coating.

All proceeds from Steve Nash Foundation Showdown New York benefit the foundation’s early childhood education platform, Educare.
