King Salman Youth Center (KSYC) discusses 5 major periods of youth life during Khattet initiative that targets the development and training of new generations to help them organize and develop their personal lives in different domains.

The initiative will be launched at King Abdulaziz University (King Faisal Conference Hall), Jeddah at 5 p.m. on Sept. 2, as the first round of its program that will cover 4 major cities of Saudi Arabia.

The initiative will cover five major milestones in youth life starting with Ibrahim Alwi’s session titled "The Dream: Making Reality." The next will be Khaled Alsaber’s session on "Planning: A life project," and Kamal Abdulaal’s session on "Money: Saving and investments."

The final two sessions empower participants with two major tools of success — communication and measurement; Dr. Fahd Alsnidi’s session will be on "Communication: Eye of connection" and Ibrahim Niyaz’s final lecturer will discuss personal benchmarking titled "Performance measurement: Goals compass."

King Salman Youth Center Executive Director Hani Almoqbil says: “KSYC works hard to deliver its message that is concerned with supporting and empowering youth in our society, and encouraging their entrepreneurial spirit.”

Almoqbil also mentioned that the Khattet initiative was a result of a study done by KSYC, which revealed that 74 percent of Saudi men think that planning is a complicated procedure that needs understanding.

“This is why we have come up with this series of lectures to increase the awareness of youth about planning concepts in different areas, and supporting them with the right skills to plan and execute their own goals,” he added.

Meanwhile, and to make sure Saudi youth in all areas across the Kingdom can benefit from the initiative, KSYC will broadcast all sessions through the center’s YouTube channel.

The center also enables all youth to benefit from its online website.
