LG Electronics (LG), a world leader in electronics, launched in Riyadh its latest smart phone flagship — the LG G2 — representing a new addition to the world of communication technologies with “high tech and refined aesthetic” features.
John Lee, president, LG Electronics Saudi Arabia, said: “LG is well known for being a world leader in innovation and an efficient partner in success with a clear mark in telecom technology. Hence LG has created, after extensive research and studies, a new smart phone — the LG G2 — with an edge over the competitors.”
Lee added: “LG decided to launch its new G2 in the Saudi market since its modern and advanced features perfectly suit the Saudi consumer’s preference for the latest and the finest in technology innovation.”
The new device comes with a host of special and exclusive features such as Android OS, v4.2.2 (Jelly Bean); true HD — IPS + LCD capacitive touchscreen (1080 O 1920) pixels, 5.2.
Other landmark features of the G2: Light weight — 143g; dimensions — 138.5 x 70.9 x 8.9 mm, in addition to a 13 MP camera, auto focus with optical image stabilization (OIS); hosting feature involving several users on one device with many unique characteristics, notably the preservation and protection of personal data from intruders.
Moreover, G2 boasts audio control and lock keys on its back — hence allowing easy control of these features through the index finger while making calls.
The launch ceremony was attended by professionals from telecom technology, and audiovisual and media representatives.
