Linde AG’s CEO Dr. Wolfgang Buechele and KJC Chairman Khaled Juffali have signed a shareholders’ agreement at the Linde Group’s head office to set up a joint venture in health care in Saudi Arabia.

The event was also attended by board members and responsible managers, including Dr. Aldo Belloni, member of the executive board of Linde AG and responsible for EMEA region, Tom Blades, member of the executive board of Linde AG and responsible for Linde Healthcare worldwide, and Ali Hamdani, head of Linde Healthcare, Middle East.

The joint venture will be operated through a limited liability company under the name of Linde KJC Healthcare LLC and will provide innovative care programs for long-term ventilated patients in their own hospitals and clinics under Linde trademark REMEO. The venture also plans to provide home care services for chronically ill patients and other health care related services.

“By signing this agreement, Linde extends its commitment to the Kingdom in the area of health care," stated Ali Hamdani, head of Linde Health care, Middle East.

He also expressed his enthusiasm at the opportunities this venture offered and emphasized on Linde's commitment toward providing the best-in-class services to the people of Saudi Arabia.
