The seven-day festival, which continues till Jan. 27, marks India’s 67th Republic Day. Hemant Kotalwar, charge d’affairs at the Embassy of India, will open the event at 4 p.m. on Jan. 21, at the hypermarket’s Murabba, Riyadh branch.

The festival is featuring a host of Indian food products and garments at unbelievable prices, while also showcasing a collection of jewelry and home appliances from India.

During the festival, special offers have been made on groceries, fresh foods, vegetables, fish and meat from India, along with Indian sweets prepared for the occasion. Also, at the Garment Mela, exotic ranges of sarees, churidars and churidar material will be offered under the Buy 2 Get 1 Free scheme, including Indian brands like Van Heusen, Peter England, Louis Philippe, Arrow and Allen Solley.

The seven-day festival period will feature entertainment programs, including live cooking demos and special cultural items. There will be biryani, chat, sweet, Malabar, fusion kebabs, street food, curry, tandoori and other fests. The flavors of India Week also has a large variety of Indian cuisine to take home, the LuLu management stated.
