As part of Marriott International’s Spirit to Serve our Community program and within KSA Business Council activities, over 15 Saudi Marriott Hotel GMs, human resource directors and executives visited the Disabled Children Association-DCA (King Abdullah Bin Abdul-Aziz Center in Jeddah) to celebrate the Kingdom’s National day and presented a gift of arts and crafts supplies to the association.

Zuhair A. Maimini, director of the King Abdullah Bin Abdul-Aziz Center, provided the Marriott group with a full tour of the facilities and invited the GMs to engage with the children in their art and craft projects to paint pictures on the occasion of Saudi National Day.

Maimini also provided a brief on the educational, training, rehabilitation and support programs that the center provides to improve the quality of life for the children and their families.

By the end of the visit, the Disabled Children’s Association and Marriott Business Council met to discuss partnering for a long-term program to support the association in their mission to assist the disabled children while they are in the program and even after completing their rehabilitation programs.

Khaldoun Hayajneh, chairman of the Marriott KSA Business Council, said: “We are glad to provide the support to the Disabled Children’s Association and to develop a long-term program with all KSA Marriott Hotels which currently have branches in Madinah, Riyadh, Jeddah and Jazan, and opening soon in Makkah.”
