Makkah Gov. Prince Khalid Al-Faisal honored Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) recently for sponsoring Makkah Excellence Award. Ahmed Farroukh, Mobily’s CEO received the honorary shield.

This took place during a special celebration held recently by the Emirate of Makkah in Jeddah in the presence of a number of senior officials, journalists and public figures of the Kingdom.

From his part, Farroukh said "We are delighted to support this public event in this year's special edition, and stressed the keenness of Mobily to adopt and foster such constructive and positive initiatives in the Kingdom. The company gives high priority to social service programs and considers them as economic entities that play an important national role. Mobily is well aware of the importance of this role in supporting the development process in the Kingdom and realizes the importance of this generous community which Mobily is proud to be part of”. 

Makkah Excellence Award aims to encourage the distinguished quality of work of prominent individual or collective efforts. This award includes eight major areas of the first field is excellence in Haj and Umrah services followed by administrative excellence, economic excellence, social excellence, cultural excellence, environmental excellence, architectural excellence, and scientific and technical excellence, where winners in these fields are honored during the annual award ceremony which is being held in Western region.
