Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) continues promoting the values of corporate culture and motivating its employees through the opening of two new Arabic Toastmasters clubs. “Leaders Makers Toastmasters Club” for men and “Alhijaz Sprits Toastmasters Club” for women were launched in an event held last week in Jeddah. The ceremony was attended by Faiez Awadh, chief HR at Mobily, and a number of senior executives from the company. Dr. Soliman Al-Madi, District 79 director, also attended the event along with other members of the Toastmasters clubs.

Awadh said:“The company aims to establish a culture of knowledge sharing and create a better working environment for its employees in order to support the visions of the company to develop the skills of its employees. The development of the company’s business begins from the development of the staff capabilities and skills. Therefore, we always support all initiatives related to our staff.”

He expressed pride in the growing number of Mobily’s Toastmasters clubs.

Dr. Al-Madi expressed his keenness to support Mobily’s Toastmasters project.

Mobily was the first in telecom to establish the first Toastmasters certified club (in the art of oratory) within the telecom sector in the Kingdom.

“Mobily Alsharqyah Toastmasters Club” was launched in 2015 in the Eastern Province, followed by two more clubs in Riyadh.

Toastmasters International (TI) is an educational organization that seeks to train individuals to become leaders in their business, and to become more skilful and efficient in public speaking and leadership through innovative educational ways and methods.

It seeks to provide its members the opportunity to develop their skills and experiences and strengthen their self confidence in various ways, such as narrating stories, sharing experiences, using the art of listening to others and advanced planning.
