Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) has signed a business agreement with the General Directorate of Education in the Eastern Province (EP) to provide the latest telecommunication services in order to improve the work environment inside the schools.

According to this agreement, Mobily will provide the Internet services through the "Broadband @ Work" devices. The services will ensure reliable Internet services for the directorate and its affiliated schools. They will also ensure stable connectivity between the ministry and the different education offices across the Kingdom.

In addition to these services, Mobily will also help ensure business continuity by providing distributed denial of service (DDoS) security services to protect the directorate infrastructure from any potential hacking attacks.

Mobily seeks to harness its advanced technical capabilities to serve the education sector in the Kingdom. The company aims to provide easy and swift information access to the students to help education sector achieve its strategic objectives.

Mobily offers a variety of services to the government and private sectors, including mobile broadband through 4G services, and the fixed broadband through FTTx network and information security services as well as the advanced services for information technology such as the machine to machine (M2M) and the cloud computing services.
