An information security forum is being organized by Mobily in Dubai on Thursday (Dec. 19), in the presence of business and IT (information technology) specialists, where the company will be reviewing its capabilities as also the latest international trends in this regard.

Mobily is working annually on finding important occasions to gather people interested in communications and IT under one roof, thus allowing the exchange of experiences, and the latest trends and explore available opportunities to increase the awareness of information security. This becomes essential in the light of the growing interest in this field as a result of the increasing security threats and penetrations that have taken place in many institutions and companies worldwide.

Information security contributes to the business continuity, raises productivity, and avoids data loss and financial losses. Mobily has entered into a partnership with IBM Global for managing the information security center in Riyadh, which competes in services and efficiency with the IBM center in Atlanta, United States. This center provides a package of services for managing the information security through cloud networks for the business sector in the Kingdom.

Mobily recently announced the opening of data centers in Riyadh and Jeddah in line with its plan to create a cluster of data centers across the regions of the Kingdom and with the aim of expanding the business sector services around the clock according to the international standards.

The forum witnessed the presence and participation of Mobily partners in business sector services such as IBM in order to review services and solutions offered for helping in accomplishing the tasks as soon as possible with the lowest cost.

Mobily stated that it is keen to hold events from time to time that are of interest to the business community, particularly the IT sector.
