The Movenpick Hotel Al Khobar recently welcomed the new batch of candidates for the Movenpick Saudi Development Center program. This initiative by Movenpick Hotels & Resorts is a unique training program exclusively for Saudi employees from different departments drawn from the nine operating properties in the Kingdom.

The main objective of the project is to enhance the capabilities and skills of the Saudi employees. Selected employees from one department are deputed to a sister Movenpick property and undergo a three weeks’ cross exposure program. “The initiative offers the employees an excellent opportunity to share best practices and to gain valuable cross-exposure at sister Movenpick hotels across the Kingdom,” said Markus Marti, GM, Movenpick Hotel, Al Khobar.

For the third Saudi Development Center initiative organized at the Movenpick Hotel Al Khobar, eight participants from different Movenpick properties in Saudi Arabia will undergo a three-week training program in the security department. Launched on Dec.1, the program will end on Dec. 19. The current program will be headed by Issa Saleh Hassan Almarhoon, security and safety director at Movenpick Hotel Al Khobar.
