Movenpick Hotel Al Khobar’s Maharaja by Vineet, claimed to have been widely acclaimed as Eastern Province’s finest Indian restaurant, is getting ready to go for a food walk through old Delhi with Michelin Star Chef Vineet Bhatia during his visit from March 7-11.

The hotel invites long-time fans of Maharaja and new friends alike to experience recipes from the Mogul dynasty with their distinctive aromas and spices that strongly influenced the regional cuisines of modern India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, with a new menu that includes Indian street food and is named after the narrow lanes of old Delhi.

Among the starters on offer are golgappas, meatballs, dahi bhalla, diced potato and chickpeas, and potato aloo chaat prepared with herbs and tamarind chutneys.

Also on offer include Khan Chacha’s lamb chop and chicken Punjab masala, grilled Jama Masjid mutton kababs, Regal Lal Kuan Bazaar’s spicy braised lamb and Kashmiri Gate’s red kidney beans. Kulfi ice cream and saffron rice pudding cap are among dessert offerings.

“Chef Vineet himself will look after this promotion. So don’t miss this unique opportunity to get close with the master and relive the glory of classic dishes prepared in a modern and innovative way,” the hotel stated.

The restaurant got awarded Best Indian Restaurant within KSA at Food & Travel Awards. A special ceremony for the winners had been conducted last week in Bahrain in the presence of Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, where the Maharaja by Vineet was declared winner of the Best of the Best Careme Award.
