Nexen Tire N’blue Eco has been awarded the US Green Good Design Award 2014. Nexen Tire is stated to be the first in the industry to win the award and it also is a great achievement following the sweep of the world’s top 4 design awards.

The US Green Good Design Awards is organized by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design in cooperation with the European Center for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies to promote excellent environmentally friendly design.

The awards are known for their rigorous judging standards that reward the best design in terms of public understanding and sustainability.

It selects award winners in the categories of environmentally-friendly products, people, organizations and architects, with the N’blue eco being named the winner in the product category at this year’s Green Good Design Awards.

The N’blue eco is claimed to be the most popular environmentally friendly tire developed by NEXEN Tire. It reduces rolling resistance while improving fuel efficiency through its structural design that minimizes energy loss with optimized tread patterns. Plus, it features an environmentally friendly functional design based on a natural motif.
