Pakistan International School, Taif held a conference entitled “How can we be a better role model” on May 19.
The event was presided by Muhammad bin Ibrahim Al-Suwat, president of the Islamic Education Foundation — Taif.
Several competitions between the Pakistan International School and the Indian International School, Taif were organized as part of the event.
The first and second positions in the “Husn–e-Qirat” competition (boys category) were won by students of the Pakistani school — Hayatullah and Shakir Muhammad, and Hidayatullah respectively. Tayaba Yaseen and Habeeba Farooq jointly won the first prize and Khulood Zakir won the second position in the girls category.
Meanwhile, in the Islamic quiz competition, Kashif Amir and Abdullah Sajid of the Pakistan International School bagged the first prize, while Nihaal Habib and Uswa Raheel also from the Pakistan International School got the first prize in the girls category.
Qaisar Khan, principal of Pakistan International School, Taif, congratulated the winning students and expressed appreciation for the school’s staff members. He said students of the Pakistan International School are successful in every walk of life and hoped that they will continue their efforts in the future as well.
“Your boys and girls are climbing up the ladder of success under the safe and protective hands of intellectual and experienced teachers and administration. If you give proper attention to your children, each one of them will become an ambassador of Pakistan,” Khan told parents.
