Nasair has announced its third consecutive month of net profit.

Captain Francois Bouteiller, CEO of nasair, said the carrier achieved SR 20 million net profit in August, SR 11 million in June and nearly SR 41 million in July 2012 with a total of SR 72 million for the three consecutive months.

The CEO said: “This achievement is a result of precise planning and intense work to match as close as possible, our customer demand and requirements through proper planning for the resources of the company, cost reductions and developing contingency plans to face any changes in the markets we are working in. These success is also an outcome of the continues support of the board of directors of NAS Holding”.

In addition, Francois said that nasair is socially responsible for the Saudi market.

The management decided to increase significantly nasair domestic presence in 2012.

During Ramadan, the flights to Jeddah were increased by nearly 100 percent from both Riyadh and Dammam and offered an additional 10,000 seats especially from Riyadh with 22 flights a day to Jeddah that made it easier for the Saudi citizens and residents to perform Umrah this year.

The CEO said that among the key success factors, the aircraft utilization was increased to reach up to 16 hours a day which is an excellent record according to the world’s benchmark.

Also, he said that since the beginning of 2012 nearly 2 million customers traveled on nasair on more than 18,000 flights giving an average annual load factor of nearly 75 percent.

Sulaiman Abdullah Al-Hamdan, CEO of NAS Holding, the parent company of nasair, praised the management of nasair for valuable steps taken toward profitability.
